Allan bought some potato salad at the market one day and we really liked it. We bought it a few times before we realized it would be a lot cheaper to make it ourselves. While it is not exactly the same, we like it and make this recipe often.
Ingredients
- 10 medium red potato
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbl green onions or 1/4 red onion finely diced
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp mixed salt
- 3 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Servings: people
Recipe Notes
Bake potatoes.
Cool and cut into bite size pieces.
Fry bacon, drain and crumble into small pieces.
Add sour cream and milk. Stir well.
Add remaining ingredients. Stir until combined.
Adjust seasoning if needed
Let sit in fridge at least two hours.
Serve and enjoy.
Depending on potatoes, salad may be dry.
Add more sour cream/milk mix if needed
