Today is National Shortbread Day! This is Megan’s favorite recipe, given to her by Miss Melody, a friend from church.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add flour and salt, then cranberries mixed with orange zest.
  3. Chill 30-60 minutes.
  4. Knead and roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut out.
  5. Chill on wax paper sheet 15 minutes.
  6. Bake at 320 degrees for 10 minutes.
  7. Dip in powdered sugar glaze and let set.
