This recipe from a friend from Patmos. These are good, but missing the extra special something that Dan puts in or maybe the camp atmosphere.
These cookies are a little saltier, so reduce salt if needed. Do NOT use salted butter.
Ingredients
- 1 c butter unsalted
- 2/3 c sugar
- 2/3 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 c M&M's
Servings: dozen
Instructions
- Cream butter with sugars.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix.
- Sift in flour, baking soda and salt, stirring until combined.
- Fold in M&Ms.
- Chill.
- Use 1 inch scoop to place 2 inches apart on lined cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes in 350 degree oven.
