After learning how to make a “rough puff pastry”, we decided to experiment.
While these are good the second day, they are best still warm.
Ingredients
Servings: pastries
Instructions
- If using homemade dough, roll to a quarter inch.
- Cut dough into just over 2x3 inch squares.
- Sandwich chocolate in pastry and seal well.
- Place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Cover with plastic wrap.
- Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer.
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Put cold pastries in hot oven.
- Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden. Be careful because bottoms burn easily.
- Cool slightly before eating.
- If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over top before serving.
