
Playing with our favorite cookie recipe. Changed ingredients slightly and then made them giant size.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c butter softened
- 1/4 c peanut butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1/4 c Turbinado Sugar
- 2 Tbl molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 c flour Sub 2 Tbl PB2 if desired
- 1/2 c almond flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c chocolate chips
- 1 c nuts opt
Servings: dozen
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Beat together butter, peanut butter, sugars, molasses, vanilla and egg.
- Add flour, almond flour, baking soda and salt.
- Mix well.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Dough will be stiff!
- Drop by quarter cup on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Pull dough apart and gently rearrange back into ball for texture if desired.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until edges are set.
- Take out even if look under cooked, that keeps them tasting really good.
- Let set a few minutes before removing to cool completely.
