
You do not want these dry, but they can be very greasy depending on what meat you use. Use lower fat meats if possible. Or, drain meat well before serving.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chopped bacon
- 2 1/2 pound ground beef extra lean preferred
- 1 1/2 pound ground pork low fat if possible
- 1/4 c balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbl garlic powder
- 1 Tbl salt
- 1 Tbl ground pepper
- 3/4 Tbl ground coriander
- 3/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp thyme
Servings: 2 oz balls
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients well.
- Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, form into 2 oz balls, then flatten slightly.
- Cook over medium heat until cooked through.
- Freeze on parchment lined cookie sheet before cooking if desired.
