Mark came up with this idea while Allan owned MC coffee shop. We made these with white chocolate chips, but they are much better with dark M&M’s.
Ingredients
- 1 c butter softened
- 3/4 c sugar
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 2 egg
- 2 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 c dark cocoa powder regular is good also
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 3/4 c dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 c M&M's dark preferred
- 1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c walnuts optional
- 1/2 c white chocolate chips optional
Servings: dozen
Instructions
- Beat together butter, sugars and eggs.
- Add flour cocoa, soda and salt.
- Mix well.
- Fold in chocolate chips, M&Ms and nuts, if using.
- Dough will be stiff!
- If needed, add a few drops of milk to soften.
- Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
- Will look dry on top, but be soft inside.
- Remove to cool immediately.
