Macadamia Nut Cookies

The white chocolate chips make these a super sweet cookie, so we reduced the sugar by over a half cup. According to our taste testers, these are the the perfect sweetness.

(Hint: While these are great cookies, Momma prefers with part chocolate chips)

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Beat together butter, sugars, molasses, vanilla and egg.
  3. Add flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts.
  6. Dough will be stiff!
  7. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven even if cookies look under cooked.
  10. Place on wire rack to cool immediately.

Just a fun note, we made these cookies the same day that Oma made cookies in eSwatini,  just for the fun of being able to say "we made them at the same time".
