Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 3 c shots espresso or 1/3 c strong coffee
- 16 oz cream cheese
- 1/3 c sour cream
- 2 c heavy whipping cream
- 24 - 30 lady fingers
- 1/3 - 1/2 c coffee liqueur
- Semi sweet chocolate for shavings

Instructions
- Combine cream cheese with 1/2 cup whipping cream and sour cream
- Mix well and set aside
- Combine egg yolks and sugar in top of double boiler over boiling water
- Reduce heat to low and cook about 10 minutes, stirring constantly
- Remove from heat and whip yolk and sugar mixture until thick and lemon colored
- Add espresso/strong coffee to the yolk and sugar mixture and mix in well
- Add yolk mixture to the cream cheese mixture
- Beat until combined
- In a separate bowl, pour remaining 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream
- With electric mixer, whip cream until stiff peaks formed
- Gently fold whipped cream into yolk mixture and set aside
- Pour liqueur into small bowl
- Quickly dunk each lady finger in the liqueur and line the bottom of glass square pan or a 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 pan
- Spoon half the filling over cookies
- Repeat with another layer of lady fingers
- Put the remaining filling on top
- Garnish with chocolate curls if desired
- Refrigerate overnight for best taste
- This freezes well if wrapped with plastic wrap and then tin foil
