This is similar to instant oatmeal packets you can buy at the store. It is also very customizable. Start with the basic oatmeal and then adjust or substitute other ingredients to make your own personal mix.
Ingredients
- 6 cups instant quick oats
- 1/2 Tbl oat flour optional
- 1 1/2 cup coconut milk powder or nonfat instant milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup maple sugar
- 1 Tbl cinnamon
- 1/2 cup almonds or favorite nuts
- 1/3 cup raisins or favorite dried fruit
Servings: cups approximately
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Store in airtight container.
- To use the first time, measure 1/3 cup oatmeal mix with 1/2 cup boiling water in cereal bowl.
- Mix well and let sit before eating.
- Adjust to personal preferences.
