Adrian has been working on perfecting his party mix for years. This is the best mixture yet!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice Chex
- 2 cups Original Cheez-its
- 2 cups White Chedder Cheez-its
- 7.5 oz Bugles
- 2 cups Pretzel Sticks
- 8 oz Rye bagel chips broken in half
- 1/2 cup stick Butter
- 3 Tbl coconut oil
- 3 Tbl Worcestershire Sauce
- 6 dashes Franks Red Hot Sauce
- 6 cloves mashed garlic
- 1 tsp Lawry’s Seasoned Salt *
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Servings: cups
Instructions
- Put all the crunchy stuff in a big bowl.
- Melt the butter and coconut oil over low heat till lightly brown.
- Saute mashed garlic in butter till fragrant.
- Add Worcestershire, hot sauce, seasoned salt and onion powder.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
- Put crunchy stuff on cookie sheet with sides and pour butter with seasonings over top while stirring.
- Bake at 250 degrees until mix is dry (about 1 hour).
- Stir every so often.
- Cool and store in an airtight container, if it lasts that long!
Recipe Notes
*I made this blend and used in places of Lawry’s;
- 2 Tbl Salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Optional: Change amounts of dry ingredients to form a mix you enjoy!
