French Meringue

I enjoyed making these meringue at work, but wanted to try some different flavors. These are vanilla, orange and ube.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 250 F.
  2. Warm up the sugar until it feels like warm sand.
  3. Start whipping your egg whites. Slowly add sugar. Whip until stiff peaks.
  4. Fold in some of your favorite flavoring and coloring if desired.
  5. Put into a piping bag and pip onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. If making multiple batches, be sure sheet is cool before piping.
  6. Make as big or small as you would like. You may us any tip. Some tips do work better than others.
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until hardened.

  1. They sure look pretty! Yum! Can you put finely chopped nuts in them? I think my dad put finely chopped black walnuts in them or other nuts.
