Ingredients
Dry ingredients

old fashioned oats or quick oats

dry buttermilk powder

Wet ingredients

Red River Cereal
cooked, unsalted

egg

cup
butter
melted

Water

chopped dates
(or raisins)
Optional Topping

cup
pecans
or other favorite nuts
Instructions
If using raisins, soak in the 2 Tbl water. Set aside.
Combine dry ingredients, except dates.
Add butter, water and egg to cooked cereal mixture.
Add dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in dates.
Spoon into 12 greased muffin tins.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until set.
Turn out to cool and store in airtight container, if there are any to store.
Sprinkle top with nuts if desired.
