Ingredients

eggs lightly beaten

milk
1/4
cup
packed brown sugar

cups
flour

teaspoon
baking powder
Oil for deep frying
powdered sugar
to sprinkle on top
cinnamon Sugar
to sprinkle on top
Instructions
Combine eggs, milk and brown sugar in large bowl.
Add flour and baking powder and mix until smooth.
Heat oil in large cast iron skillet to 375 degrees.
Cover the bottom of a funnel spout with your finger and pour in about 1/2 cup batter.
Hold funnel several inches above hot oil. Remove finger and carefully pour batter in a criss cross pattern.
Fry for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.
Let cool just a bit and eat warm.
