Ingredients

eggs
separated

c plus 1 Tbl
sugar

whole milk

heavy cream

tsp
nutmeg
fresh grated if possible
Instructions
Separate the egg yolk and egg white.
In a bowl of a stand mixer, beat the yolk until they lighten in color.
Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar and beat until sugar is dissolved completely.
Add milk, cream, and nutmeg.
Whisk to combine.
Place egg whites in a different bowl and whisk until soft peaks form.
Add 1 Tablespoon sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.
Whisk egg whites into cream mixture.
Chill before serving.
Recipe Notes
If you prefer with alcohol add 3 ounces of Bourbon add it with the milk and cream.
