Sichuan peppercorns*

whole star anise

whole cloves

whole fennel seeds

ground cinnamon
Instructions
Toast the peppercorns, star anise, cloves, and fennel in a toaster oven or a dry pan until fragrant and aromatic
Blend the toasted spices in a spice/coffee grinder
Stir in the cinnamon
Pour into an airtight container
Use in many Chinese, Japanese, or other south-eastern Asian dishes

*Also known as Chinese peppercorns, use regular peppercorn if you do not have.
