Ingredients

flour
all purpose
1/2
c
cold butter
unsalted

lb
shredded cheddar cheese
this is about 2 cups
+/- 1/4
tsp
Tabasco Sauce
1/2
c
Water
or milk
+/- 1/4
tsp
cayenne pepper
optional
Instructions
Cut butter and cheese into flour until it resembles course meal.
Add water with Tabasco Sauce one tablespoon at a time until it forms a ball.
Cover in plastic wrap and chill 20 minutes or overnight.
Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into desired shaped (mini animal shapes are a favorite here).
Bake 350 degrees F till golden (18-20 minutes).
Bake longer if desired, being careful not to burn.
Make extra, because they are very good!
Recipe Notes
Optional: Use rice flour, wheat flour or mix of flours in place of flour.
