Gravy (and Biscuits)
grated orange peel
to garnish if desired
Saute onions in butter until translucent.
Add sausage and cook all the way through. Break into smaller pieces as it cooks.
Drain grease if needed. Lower heat.
Sprinkle flour over cooked meat. Stir well.
Pour milk over meat, stirring to keep lumps away.
Stirring often, heat until gravy is thickened.
Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
Serve with fresh baked biscuits of choice.
If you prefer a thicker gravy, use less milk. If you are trying to stretch it out, use more milk 🙂
