Kahlua is a coffee flavored liqueur that is used in tiramisu. I am sure that it is used in many other recipes, but tiramisu is our favorite way to use it.
Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup instant coffee crystals We used Nescafe Clasico
Servings: cups
Instructions
- Bring the water to a simmer and stir in the sugar, vanilla, and coffee crystals.
- Keep simmering at medium to low heat for about ten minutes, until the mixture resembles a syrup.
- Cool syrup.
- Pour vodka into a Mason Jar.
- Add syrup and swirl to mix.
- Serve as desired.
- Store in refrigerator and use within a month.
